It is important when you visit Argentina that you are well guided, and which is the best way than a GPS or a map. We bring you a solution for those that have Garmin GPS. Argentina has a free open-source map for these brand, for those that are interested and know a little from spanish you can find a lot of information at www.proyectomapear.com.ar.
For those who not, we will try to explain how to install this into your GPS.
It is easy and fast, first you just need to download the last release from Mapear at Mapear V9. For now you will just have the maps from the WHOLE Argentina, Uruguay, and some parts of Bolivia and Brazil. For installing this software you need to have the Garmin Map Source to upload the map into your GPS. You can download it at Garmin.
With all the software ready, you just need to upload the maps to your device. Using MapSource to upload the maps its easy, but in case you have doubts here are the manuals:
